We have a photo gallery from last Wednesday's SD&G A boys soccer playoffs, held in Alexandria. The May 16 tournament featured junior and senior divisions, with the GDHS Gaels winning both titles.

Williamstown's Char-Lan District High School will host the boys EOSSAA 'A' soccer tournament on Tuesday, May 29, with action taking place on two fields.
The senior pool includes Glengarry DHS, along with the hosts. Also competing are St. Michael (Kemptville), Hawkesbury, St. John (Perth), and Mackenzie (Deep River).
Junior squads include the top-seeded Gaels, the sixth-ranked Crusaders, as well as Rideau (Elgin), St. Joseph's (Renfrew), Embrun, and Notre Dame (Carleton Place).
Play is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m., with the senior championship match expected to hit the pitch at 3:30 p.m., followed by the junior title tilt at 4:30 p.m.
Of our county teams, Char-Lan's seniors play at 8:30 a.m. and 1:10 p.m., while the Gaels are slated for 10:50 a.m. and 1:10 p.m. contests
Junior games will have the Glengarry and the Crusaders playing (separate matches) at 9:40 a.m., with the Gaels again seeing action at noon. The Crusaders will conclude round-robin play at 2:20 p.m.

The senior boys soccer team from Char-Kan DHS hit the pitch in Cornwall on Monday, dropping a 2-1 decision to St. Joseph's before pounding host St. Lawrence 8-0.
The results give the Crusaders a record of 7 and 1.

On Monday, county rivals Char-Lan and Glengarry collided in high school senior boys soccer action, in Williamstown, where the Gaels prevailed 2-0. Check out all the details, including results from other recent matches and games on the schedule, in this week's edition of The Glengarry News.

The Char-Lan Rebels novice B Rebels rep. hockey team goes for the UCMHL championship tonight, on home ice in Williamstown, starting at 6 p.m.
The young skaters are facing the Kemptville Panthers in the fifth and final game of the title series, with each team having one win and one loss, to go along with two ties thus far.
Char-Lan Rebels rep. 'B' hockey teams are in action tonight, including one game in Maxville, where the novice Rebs will take on the Kemptville Panthers, at 6 p.m.
In Williamstown, the atom Rebels will play at 7 p.m., versus the Kemptville Panthers, and at 9:30 p.m., the major midgets will tangle with Brockville Braves.
All of these games are part of their respective UCMHL championship series.
Char-Lan's bantams bowed out in the semifinal round, bounced by the Kemptville Panthers five points to one.
The peewee Rebels finished as league playoff finalists, succumbing five points to one, to the Brockville Braves.
All five Char-Lan rep. hockey teams qualified for playoff action this season, despite the league reducing the number of playoff qualifiers to the top four in each division.
